East Hanover Community Partnership Hosts First-Ever “POWER MOVES” Networking & Wellness Event for Women in Business
East Hanover, NJ – On Thursday, April 10th, the East Hanover Community Partnership (EHCP) proudly hosted POWER MOVES, the first-ever networking and wellness event dedicated exclusively to celebrating East Hanover’s Women in Business. Held at Powerhouse Studios, the event brought together nearly 50 dynamic female professionals from across the township for an evening of connection, inspiration, and wellness.
The evening featured remarks from EHCP President Artie Dorey and East Hanover Mayor Joseph Pannullo, both of whom underscored the critical role women play in driving the local economy and shaping the East Hanover community. Their words were a powerful reminder of the strength, dedication, and innovation that women bring to the town’s business landscape.
A standout moment of the evening was the surprise presentation of the inaugural Heart of the Community Award, bestowed upon Councilwoman Carolyn Jandoli. A pillar of leadership and service, Councilwoman Jandoli has served East Hanover for over 19 years with distinction and grace. She is also the Executive Director of Global End User Services at Merck and will be celebrating 35 years with the company this June. In her heartfelt speech, she urged women to stay confident, embrace change, and never stop learning.
Guests also heard from local business leaders including Pam Callender, VP of Marketing at Ridgedale Federal Credit Union, who highlighted the institution’s personalized, small-town approach to banking. Ridgedale FCU’s President and CEO Linda Rheiner was also in attendance, and the bank generously provided branded swag bags for all attendees. Additionally, Paradise Salon, a new addition to the East Hanover business scene, shared an informative presentation about their signature head spa treatment.
The energy continued with a fun and empowering mat pilates and strength session, led by fitness professionals Danielle Delvescovo (Pilates by DWD & Dance with Danielle), Hannah Ensel, and Cierra Kuryla of FIIT Culture. The 25-minute guided movement segment brought excitement and wellness into the heart of the event.
The night also featured giveaways from local businesses including The Lush Collection, Ridgedale Federal Credit Union, and Paradise Salon and Spa, with four lucky attendees going home with fantastic prizes.
As the evening came to a close, meaningful conversations and connections filled the room. Entrepreneurs and professionals exchanged ideas, sparked collaborations, and built lasting relationships. Guests gathered in front of the unique balloon décor by Maui & Kona while Charles Anthony Studio captured the excitement of the event.
“The East Hanover Community Partnership is honored to sponsor such a meaningful and impactful event,” said President Artie Dorey. “We are committed to recognizing and uplifting the incredible women who help shape our local business community.”
POWER MOVES marked an exciting milestone in East Hanover’s commitment to empowering women, and the EHCP looks forward to continuing this important work.
