
East Hanover Community Partnership Hosts Successful “Striking Connections II” Networking Event at The Funplex
The East Hanover Community Partnership proudly hosted its annual networking event, Striking Connections II, at The Funplex. The evening brought together local business owners, community leaders, and neighbors for a night of connection, collaboration, and celebration.
Guests included members of the Hanover Rotary Club, Mayor Joe Pannullo, Town Council members, and both the Police and Fire Chiefs. Partnership President Artie Dorey welcomed attendees, sharing the event’s mission: “This evening is about creating meaningful relationships. When we support one another and build strong business connections, our whole community thrives.”
Mayor Pannullo echoed this message, highlighting East Hanover’s special small-town character and the vital role of its local businesses.
Recognizing Community Excellence
- Beautification Awards: Awarded to Picture Perfect Landscapes and Wild Fork for their efforts in enhancing the town’s visual appeal.
- Appreciation Award: Presented to Danielle Delvesovo of Dance with Danielle and Pilates by DWD for her generous contributions, including youth sponsorships, community performances, hospital fundraisers, and wellness events.
- 50-Year Milestones: The Godfather and Sorrento Bakery were honored for five decades of service. Both began in the same plaza on Ronald Drive 25 years ago and have since become beloved fixtures in East Hanover.
The event wrapped up with exciting activities like bowling, go-karts, and prize giveaways, donated by generous local businesses.
