Welcome
These terms apply to your use of easthanoverpartnership.org (the “Site”), run by the East Hanover Community Partnership, the Special Improvement District for East Hanover, New Jersey (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
What the Site is for
The Site shares news, events and resources for East Hanover businesses and visitors. It also hosts a business directory where local businesses can submit a listing. We may add, change or remove any part of the Site at any time.
Business directory listings
If you submit a listing, you confirm that you’re authorized to do so for that business and that the information is accurate and current. You also give us permission to display the listing, including any logo, photos and contact details you provide, on the Site and in our promotional materials for the district.
We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion. A listing doesn’t mean we endorse the business, and we don’t guarantee any results from appearing in the directory.
Accounts
If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Events
Event details, dates, times and locations on the Site can change. Check the event page or contact us before you attend. Events may be photographed or recorded, and we may use those images to promote the district. Sponsors and vendors may be subject to separate agreements.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- submit false, misleading or unlawful content
- use the Site to harass others or to send spam
- try to break into, disrupt or overload the Site or its systems
- copy the business directory in bulk, or use it to build mailing lists, without our written permission
Our content and your content
The text, graphics, logos and photos on the Site belong to the East Hanover Community Partnership or the people who licensed them to us. You may view and share them for personal or community use, with credit to us. Any other use needs our written permission.
You keep ownership of content you submit. By submitting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, display and reproduce it for the purposes described on the Site.
Links to other sites
The Site links to businesses, partners and other outside websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It’s part of these terms.
No warranties
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is.” We don’t promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or always up to date.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the East Hanover Community Partnership, its board, staff and volunteers aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or from your dealings with businesses listed on it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
